Privacy Policy

Stakefield is a static information site. We collect as little as possible, we do not sell personal data, and we do not ask you to create an account to read anything.

What we collect

If you email us, we receive your message and address to reply. If you subscribe to the update list, we store the email address you give us to send those updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and to understand aggregate traffic; any analytics we use are configured to be privacy-respecting and are not used to build advertising profiles of you.

Affiliate links and third parties

Some outbound links are affiliate links routed through a /go/ address, and following one takes you to a third-party provider whose own privacy policy and cookies then apply. We may be told, in aggregate, that a referral occurred so a commission can be attributed; that does not tell us your identity. We explain the commercial side fully on our affiliate disclosure page. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their data practices.

Your choices and contact

You can browse without providing any personal information, decline or clear cookies in your browser, and unsubscribe from emails whenever you like. To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, email [email protected] and we will help. Because the law that applies to you depends on where you live, contact us if you need this handled under a specific regime and we will do our best to accommodate it.
